MALDEN, Massachusetts -- In a small suburban town just outside of Boston, a teenage boy was found unresponsive in his bed. Though not immediately clear, authorities believe that it was a murder, but because there are no visible signs of violence on the body, they believe that the murderer must have used a toxin. Autopsy reports are inconclusive at this point, but high levels of oxalic acid are present in his bloodstream. This is evidence that suggests that a poison was used. A thorough investigation is in the process.
Jonathan Sit, age 17, was an ordinary person. He attends Malden High School where he does well academically. Outside of school, he enjoys swimming and playing tennis. There is nothing out of the ordinary about him, but what could have motivated anyone to commit such a heinous against him? Jonathan's parents had no comment on the matter.
Locals are in disbelief that such a tragedy could occur in their own neighborhoods. Malden officials have put safety as a primary concern over the past years, but crimes like these can never be fully prevented.
Martina B. Mann, a spokesperson for the city counsel, said schools and community groups have always advocated non-violence, but there are always those outliers. She declined to comment on the recent murder.
Suspect found in recent poison murder

MALDEN, Massachusetts -- A recent lead has been found in the murder of seventeen year old boy, Jonathan Sit. After a witness testimony, authorities have tracked down what they believe to be their top suspect.
In the short, but ground breaking, interview, new light was shed on the poison murder. After reviewing surveillance systems at Ace Hardware, it has been confirmed that the hooded man stole a jug of antifreeze and ran off. Investigators are currently looking for this man.
The stolen jug of antifreeze proves the theory of poison as the main cause of death. Typical antifreeze contains ethylene glycol, a sweet tasting poison that is colorless, and odorless. This poison is highly toxic in large amounts and could easily be disguised as a drink. It is easily obtained and readily available at stores such as Ace Hardware.

MALDEN, Massachusetts -- As more and more light is shed on this tragic event, authorities are closer and closer to clinching this case. Recently revealed in a new witness testimony, it seems like very likely that this murder was premeditated. There had been a rivalry between Jonathan Sit and his friend, Anthony Nguyen, that may have resulted in a feud.
What the feud was over? A pair of ripped shorts.
Although their rivalry has extended to engross many other aspects, analysts believe this "shorts" incident to be the tipping point for Anthony. Experts conclude that the rivalry had gotten to his head and in order to come out on top, the only option Anthony had was to kill his best friend and rival, Jonathan.
Anthony's parents said they had no idea of the conflict between these two teenagers. Jonathan's parents finally spoke up about their situation saying that they were deeply saddened by this ordeal and hope that justice finally gets served. They will be pressing charges against Anthony.
Martina B. Mann, a spokesperson for the city counsel, spoke up about this crime, citing that school officials should be more aware of problems such as these and that it is their duty to prevent rivalries such as these from escalating. She is currently working with authorities to defer Anthony to a mental institution for rehabilitation.
